The Christmas season has come and gone. As a teen, though, what do we look forward to Christmas as? Is it a time to spend with family, to exchange gifts, or to rejoice in Christ’s birth? It can be all of these. Giving presents isn’t wrong–not at all!–, unless you’re viewing that as the only, or most important, part of Christmas, which is of course celebrating God, sending His Son for us to save us from our sins. I hope you spent at least part of your day thinking, praying, and thanking God for what He did for us. But I challenge you today not to limit that to Christmas. It is something worth celebrating year ’round! So take at least a moment, right now, to bow your head and thank God.
