A Cheerful Heart

Proverbs 15:15 (MSG) is an awesome verse. Let’s take a look:

“A miserable heart means a miserable life; a cheerful heart fills the day with a song.”

In other words, when our hearts are miserable it consequently makes us miserable. Like a row of dominoes, it’s a chain reaction. But when do we sing songs? When we’re miserable? When we’re angry? Obviously, when we’re cheerful: “a cheerful heart fills the day with a song.”

I’ve made this a short post, but I have a huge point: We need to have a cheerful heart. It can be a challenge at times, but just as having a miserable heart makes us miserable, having a cheerful heart will bring joy into our lives.
