Whenever I get nominated for a blog award I have to get up and do a little happy dance. 🙂 Then again, if there are people around I just do the dance in my head! Anyway, a huge thanks to Cathy for the nominations! Be sure to visit her blog at http://craigmotor.wordpress.com/.
All three awards ask you to nominate other blogs, but the One Lovely Blog Award ask you to write seven interesting things about yourself, so here goes…
- I like Smucker’s Natural Crunchy Peanut Butter. A lot! Hmm… that was random.
- I am super obsessed with the Piano Guys right now. Check out some of their music: http://www.youtube.com/user/ThePianoGuys. I also love listening to Anthem Lights, Building 429, Superchic[k], Gungor, and Francesca Battistelli just to name a few.
- I’ve been home schooled since first grade and I love it!
- My mom’s from Hong Kong and is a former model/jewelry designer. My dad is an ordained pastor.
- I have the two most amazing cats in the world! You can take my word for it or see them here.
- I can finish a book in a couple of hours. (And it drives me crazy! Do you know how hard it is to find good books when you’ve read them all?!)
- I cried hysterically during Hachi. If you’re an animal lover, you absolutely have to watch it!
Nominations: (note: I’m not really active on the blogosphere so this is a small list)
God bless!
So great to find out more about you – and thanks so much for the nomination of my blog! I can imagine the frustration of having that ‘gift’ of being a quick reader – what kind of stuff do you like reading?
And do you eat the peanut butter with a spoon, or on things? Someone once introduced me to the concept of apple slices and p. butter together and I found that quite interesting!

No problem, I love your blog! I’m not really a fan of just one type of genre, but my two favorite authors are Shannon Hale and Joan Bauer. As far as Christian authors go, I love Melody Carlson, Melanie Dickerson, Ted Dekker, and Frank Peretti.
My favorite thing to do is eat peanut butter on a spoon, but I have tried it on apple slices, celery, and pancakes. I think I’ll go get some right now! 🙂

I’m afraid I’ve only heard of Frank Peretti but I’d like to check them out. My fave Christian authors are Francine Rivers and Karen Kingsbury in fiction, and John Eldredge in the non-fiction genre.
Hehe, enjoy!!

I’ve heard of Karen Kingsbury but I’m not familiar with anything she’s written. Thanks for sharing! I think Melanie Dickerson only writes teen books, but you absolutely have to read one of Dekker’s books, he’s amazing! My personal favorite of his is the Circle series.

OK will track down Dekker and the Circle series – thanks!

Congratulations on your awards!
Nice cats, especially the black one. 🙂 I have a pic of 1 of my 3 cats on my photo blog right now! http://creativephotoplus.com/2013/01/05/meet-my-new-writing-assistant/
Thank you so much for nominating our blog (ICB) we all appreciate it! However, that being said, I decided from day one that I would not post awards on ICB and also removed them from my home blog as well.
This is just a personal decision as I do not want to display them anymore.
I really do appreciate the nominations though, thank you so much for thinking of us, I say us because there are many talented authors involved with ICB!
God bless

Thank you! I would pass what you said on to my cat but her head is big enough as it is. 🙂 Your cat is adorable! I love the markings! I wish we could have three cats, but the two we have barely tolerate each other anyway.
I can appreciate your decision, and either way it doesn’t really matter; I just wanted to let you guys know that you’re doing great things with your blog!
God bless,

Thank you!
I’m always hopeful that the person who nominates a blog of mine will not be offended that I do not post the awards.

Just checked your two kitties out! adorable! I wish I could have 2 but our one won’t allow it! And Hachi? I watched it once. I can’t watch it again because all I do is cry through it. Our pets are wonderful!

Thank you! I absolutely love them, though sadly they don’t get along very well. 🙂 Your cat is gorgeous! My dad doesn’t understand why my mom and I watch movies like Hachi, but they’re so cute and sweet and sad!
