They look but do not see
They hear but do not comprehend
The wonders and the majesty
That have been shown to them
They are taught but do not learn
They listen but stay the same
The wisdom of the King
Has not brought any change
Blessed are those who see and hear!
Blessed are those who take this to heart
Who learn and apply
Things that are wise
From the King of kings, our God
That is why I use these parables, For they look, but they don’t really see. They hear, but they don’t really understand. But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear. (Matthew 13:13, 16)

I read those scriptures to help me understand why people don’t see, hear, or know. It’s sad because so many are blind and they don’t get it! I pray for many of them everyday. No wonder Jesus used parables!
