Nothing Can Ever Separate Us

Do you ever feel distant from God? Like He’s not listening, or He’s just too busy for your little problems? Maybe you feel like some sin you’ve committed is going to come between you and God. You feel like He can’t forgive you for what you’ve done.

Let me tell you, nothing could be further from the truth. Check out Romans 8:38-39:

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I love this verse! Angels, demons, death, life–nothing can ever separate us from God’s love! And while the Devil would like you to think that you’ve gone too far, or that God doesn’t care about you, remember these verses. Remember that God loved you enough to send His Son to die for you; He loves you more than you can imagine and He most certainly cares about your problems! And if you’ve sinned, He says that all you have to do is repent and come to Him, and you will be forgiven. Period.

Your steadfast love, O Lord, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds. (Psalm 36:5)

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)

Always remember His love for you, and know that nothing can ever separate you from His love!
